Valtrex is a medication used to treat multiple sclerosis (MS) and other forms of nerve damage. It belongs to a class of drugs known as central nervous system stimulators. It works by increasing the amount of brain volume that is thereby helping the body recover from multiple sclerosis (also known as meningioma).
Valtrex belongs to a group of drugs called antipsychotics. It works by affecting the parts of the brain (the brain cells that control the movement of information) that control the brain's response to mental stimulation. These cells then send signals to the spinal cord that help control the movement of information (talk).
Valtrex also affects other parts of the brain. These cells then send signals to the brain cells in the spinal cord that control muscle movements. These muscle movements are part of the voluntary muscle movement known as voluntary muscle contractions. The amount of movement required to recover from the multiple sclerosis or meningioma can vary from person to person. It may take several weeks for the full effect to develop.
